Stromboli



Stromboli is a small island in the Tyrrhenian Sea, off the north coast of Sicily, containing one of the three active volcanoes in Italy.
But also  is a type of turnover filled with various cheeses, typically mozzarella, Italian meats such as salami, capicola and bresaola or vegetables. The dough traditionally used is Italian bread dough.

Ingredients:

Yields 2 loaves
1 (.25 oz) package active dry yeast
1 1/3 cups warm water (110° to 115°)
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/2 tsp salt
4 to 5 cups all-purpose flour
